The promotion of the use of 3 million energy-saving lamps in Yunnan Province was launched in Kunming on June 19. This alone can save 200 million kWh per year, reduce 1800 tons of sulfur dioxide, and save 25,000 tons of standard coal.
Promoting efficient lighting products is an important measure for China to achieve the 11th Five-Year Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Target. In accordance with the requirements of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance, Yunnan Province has to complete the task of promoting 3 million energy-saving lamps this year. At the same time, it is stipulated that for each high-efficiency lighting product of urban and rural residents, the central government will subsidize 50% of the supply price of the winning bid agreement; for each high-efficiency lighting product of the large-scale users, the central government will subsidize 30% of the supply price of the winning bid.
The three production enterprises in Yunnan Province that use energy-saving lamp products are the winning enterprises that have won the national promotion of energy-saving lamp products: Guangdong Xuelaite Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., Huizhou TCL Electric Co., Ltd., Foshan Electrical and Lighting Co., Ltd.
In order to promote the quality and quantity of energy-saving lamps in Yunnan Province, the provincial government will also provide appropriate subsidies while granting subsidies to the state. Ordinary people use only one energy-saving lamp for only 3 to 4 yuan.
