It is understood that Shenzhen is the most developed area of ​​the national LED industry, the number of enterprises in the LED industry and the output value of products account for half of the country. More than 3,000 hours of road surveys and a large number of laboratory tests have accumulated a large amount of first-hand information on the research and evaluation of LED road lighting products in Shenzhen, reflecting the current true level of the LED industry.
Under the organization of the LED Standards Alliance and the LED Industry Federation, many core units in the LED Standard Alliance have worked together to draw on the experience of other cities and local industry standards, as well as the national road lighting products. Energy efficiency requirements and the requirements of the US Energy Star on LED lighting products, combined with the specific conditions of the city, put forward specific technical recommendations and energy efficiency requirements for LED street lighting products in Shenzhen, and seek comments and revisions between various government departments.
