Design of Staircase Lighting Automation Circuit Based on PLC Programmable Controller

Additionally, if multiple people are using the stairs at the same time—whether going up or down—the system still activates the lights in sequence and turns them off once everyone has passed through. This ensures even distribution of electricity usage across different households. Users who finish their use of the lighting will no longer be charged, making the system both fair and cost-effective.
This PLC-based system not only improves convenience for users but also enhances energy efficiency and reduces maintenance costs.
