In a hot state (around 75°C), small and medium-sized low-voltage motors should have an insulation resistance of at least 0.5 megohms. For high-voltage motors, the stator insulation per kilovolt of working voltage should be no less than 1 megohm, while the wound rotor should have at least 0.5 megohms per kilovolt. Additionally, the secondary circuit of the motor must maintain a minimum insulation resistance of 1 megohm.
