According to reports, the goal of “uniform coating” can be achieved with new materials developed by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., and Sumitomo Chemical has also developed special manufacturing equipment for new materials.
The report pointed out that the new materials mentioned above were jointly developed by Sumitomo Chemical and overseas panel makers and JOLED, an affiliate of Japan Display Inc (JDI). JOLED is expected to start selling the 21.6-inch medical OLED panels this autumn, and Sumitomo Chemical will take the lead.
