The router is the core device in a home smart network, and the importance of Wi-Fi is growing every day. On April 27, 2017, 360 Security Router launched a new product release, officially announcing its new Gigabit broadband router: the 360-Gigabit Secure Router 2. 360 has made significant contributions to network security, and the P series routers have gained a solid reputation for their secure internet access and stable signal. In this review, I’ll share my full experience with the 360 Security Router 2 Gigabit.
The public beta version of the router was simple to test, but it didn’t represent the final release. Now, the official version is available at major retailers. The packaging remains minimalist, just like previous models.
**Unboxing:**
The 360 Security Router 2 Gigabit continues the design of anodized aluminum alloy casing, giving it a premium look and feel. It uses four 17.5cm 6dBi single-frequency microstrip antennas that reduce signal interference and improve transmission speed. The dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) can reach up to 1167Mbps, and the 5GHz external FEM module increases signal coverage by 50%. For users, strong signal strength is a key factor when choosing a router.
Inside the box, you'll find only the power adapter and warranty card. However, I have a small concern about the size of the power plug—it might block adjacent sockets.

I placed all the antennas on the right side in my small apartment and found the coverage sufficient.

Plug it in, connect your device to “360wifi,†and you're guided through the setup. You can choose between dial-up or static IP, enter your login details, set the Wi-Fi name and password, and you’re done.
360 also released a new version of the 360 Smart Butler APP 4.0, offering rich management features. You can monitor each device's speed in real time, check the router’s health, manage firewall settings, and even set parental controls for children’s internet use.
The router has several notable features, including the ability to control device bandwidth, monitor online time, and enhance security. 360 has a history of inviting top hackers and security experts to test their products, ensuring quick response to any vulnerabilities.
It also offers modes like "Pregnant Women Mode," "Balanced Mode," and "Through-Wall Mode" for adjusting Wi-Fi signal strength. A guest network feature allows visitors to connect without sharing your main network password—very convenient for guests.
