Thermal grease, also known as heat-conducting grease, is a silicone-based compound made with heat-resistant and thermally conductive materials. It is widely used in electronic devices such as power amplifiers, transistors, tubes, and CPUs. Its main purpose is to improve the thermal conductivity between components and heat sinks, ensuring stable performance and preventing overheating that could damage sensitive electronics.

This high-thermal-conductivity insulating material can be used for a long time within a temperature range of -50°C to +230°C. It offers excellent electrical insulation, thermal conductivity, and resistance to water, ozone, and weathering. Because of these properties, it is ideal for use in various electronic products, especially where heat-generating components like power tubes, thyristors, or electric heating stacks are in contact with heat dissipation systems such as heat sinks or enclosures.

Thermal grease is easy to apply and can be spread using brushes, rollers, automatic extrusion, or screen printing. It’s often used in microwave communication equipment, power supplies, and other electronic devices where efficient heat transfer is essential. It helps protect components like transistors, CPUs, thermistors, temperature sensors, car refrigerators, power modules, and printer heads from overheating.

It's important to note that if you dilute thermal grease with silicone oil, it may lead to oil separation and reduced thermal conductivity. Therefore, it's best to choose the right model based on your specific application to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
