Lenovo United States PC sales rose by 69%

Lenovo United States PC sales rose by 69% The well-known research company NPD released a report a few days ago that, in the context of the decline in US market sales in November, Apple, Lenovo, and Toshiba’s PC products have risen in tandem, and Lenovo's PC sales have increased by 69% year-on-year.

According to NPD, PC sales in the US market fell by 6% in November, but Apple's PC increased by 19% year-on-year, Toshiba increased by 22%, and Lenovo's growth rate even further reached 69%. In contrast, HP and Dell are not so happy, HP sales fell 15%, Dell also only a slight increase of 5%.

Barrell Bank analyst Ben Reitzes said that Apple's growth momentum will run through the entire fourth quarter, after the previous September and October PC's PC growth rate has remained at 20%. The main growth driver for November was the new MacBook Air notebook, which recorded a year-on-year increase of 33%.

The overall decline in PC sales in the US market also proves that Windows 7 can only drive the PC market for a short period of time. Once the heat is over, it will no longer be able to help attract more consumers. Most PC makers will decline in sales. Although Microsoft said in October that its Windows 7 system shipments reached 240 million units in the first year and it achieved the fastest shipment record, the shipment figures after October were not given. It is expected that sales of Win 7 will start to decline year-on-year.

Although Lenovo and Toshiba are less than Acer, Asus, Dell and Hewlett-Packard in the netbook market, their share will not change much in a short period of time, and their advantage lies in traditional notebooks.
