Nokia has just announced that it has reached a partnership with Youku, a video site in China. Youku users and content creators will be able to experience and share high-quality VR content through Nokia OZO VR cameras.

Youku claims that it has 500 million monthly active users and has more than 1.1 billion daily page views. According to the cooperation agreement, Youku will integrate Nokia's OZO Player SDK and OZO Audio solution, and use OZO Camera, OZO Software Suite and OZO Live to create and distribute VR content, including movies, TV shows, news and documentaries, and more.
Youku will be the first Chinese content producer and distributor to fully integrate Nokia's OZO ecosystem. VR professionals will be able to create VR application experiences on most major platforms through a single unified development interface. The OZO Player SDK includes a reference design for the player and supports platforms including Oculus Desktop, Oculus Mobile/GearVR, HTC Vive, and Google VR.
