On April 10th, China Silian High-tech Northwest Industrial Base Project started construction in Lanzhou New District. The project has a total investment of 1 billion yuan and plans to build 80,000 square meters of production and auxiliary plants. It is planned to be completed and put into operation at the end of 2013.

The total investment of the project is 1 billion yuan. It plans to build 80,000 square meters of production and auxiliary workshops, purchase related production and processing equipment, build LED packaging and LED lighting products, HD TV set-top boxes, urban heating meters, and third-generation concentrating light. The solar power system production line is scheduled to be completed and put into production in December 2015. The first phase of the project is planned to invest 499.73 million yuan and the construction area is 24923 square meters. It is planned to be completed and put into operation at the end of 2013.
By then, it will be able to achieve an annual production capacity of 3.2 million LED lamps, 500,000 urban heating meters, and 500,000 high-definition TV set-top boxes. The annual sales income reached 2.66 billion yuan, which can provide 2000 jobs for Lanzhou New District.
