Don't underestimate the power of a tiny sesame seed—it can cause big problems if not handled properly. I had to smash it out to get hundreds of pieces. Sharing my experience fixing a TCL LCD TV model L46P21FBDE with a flower screen issue. The board number is 40-206P11-MAB2XG, and the main chip is V8-M206P10-LFIV083. The customer mentioned that someone else had disassembled the unit and claimed that a large aluminum block was broken, along with missing parts. I was confused at first—what kind of aluminum block were they talking about? I assumed it was the big chip under the heatsink. I asked the customer for the price and told them to wait for my call. When I turned on the TV, the red flower screen appeared, then turned green after half a minute, followed by a normal image—but there was a shadow. I took some photos to document the issue. [attach]612934[/attach] First, I checked the screen cable. Pressing or scrubbing it didn’t make a difference. I suspected the logic board, but the voltages looked normal. I tried to test the screen, but couldn’t see clearly due to the limited display. I removed the screen board and found no issues. So the problem must be on the motherboard. I gave up on that test. I also measured the key voltages on the mainboard and found nothing unusual. I was stuck. In the evening, I spoke with the owner. This board actually costs over $300. After searching online, many people mentioned it might be a frequency multiplier issue. I felt something was off in that area. When I touched one of the components, the flower screen color changed! I was excited. It turned out to be a bad solder joint or poor through-hole connection. I tested R133 and R136, both 47-ohm resistors, and found they were reading in the mega-ohm range. I replaced them immediately. The power test worked perfectly! I also uploaded the program data for the owner and shared it with others.
