Vishay Releases New Zero Resistance Chip Resistor

A few days ago, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. Announced the launch of a new zero-resistance chip resistor, the RCWPM Jumper, which was inspected by DSCC. The resistor passed the RCZ type certification of MIL-PRF-32159. For military, aerospace, aerospace, medical, and other applications in harsh environments, RCWPM Jumper provides definitive reliability and military-grade failure rates.

RCWPM Jumper uses a stable thick-film resistor body and 96% alumina substrate. The "B" type connector has a nickel/barrier alloy wrapped in a nickel barrier. The device's electroplated nickel blocking layer allows the device to operate at a high temperature of +150°C.

The jumper is 100% screened in accordance with the Group A standard of per MIL-PRF-32159 and complies with the halogen-free standard defined by IEC 61249-2-21.
