Brick Folding Machine
Structure Introduction
The machine is designed with a hydraulic control system and a force measurement and display unit. It features a vertical column structure, where the main frame is made of welded steel and treated to ensure high rigidity. The hydraulic cylinder is mounted on the base plate, and when the piston extends, it applies pressure to the specimen.
The test space dimensions are 420 x 550 mm. The indenter is made of high-quality carbon steel (HRC 45–50) to ensure long service life. The oil delivery and return valve controls the hydraulic cylinder for the entire testing process.
The data display system shows peak load and test results automatically, with a print function. It supports manual control for loading speed, holding time, and cyclic pressure. The machine also has the ability to detect specimen failure during testing.

Installation Instructions
1. When lifting the testing machine, use a sling to hang it from both sides of the beam or from the two rings at the top.
2. Install the machine on a stable foundation, 20 cm above the ground. Four M16 anchor bolts should be embedded in the foundation.
3. Use a frame level with 1/1000 precision to ensure the lower pressure plate is horizontal. Adjust using the horn pads under the nuts and secure the machine to the foundation.
Operational Guidance
1. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil up to 5 cm below the top surface.
2. Turn on the power supply (380V, 50Hz) and start the motor.
3. Place the test specimen on the platform, ensuring it is properly aligned and secured.
4. Tighten the return valve and open the delivery valve. Gradually pressurize while controlling the rate to avoid overpressure.
5. After the test, loosen the oil return valve (turn more than two times), close the oil supply valve, and let the piston retract slowly. Stop the machine once the piston returns to its original position for the next test.
6. Do not adjust the factory-set safety valve during operation.
7. Follow the detailed steps in the instrument manual for proper operation.
Maintenance Guidelines
1. Install the machine in a clean, dry, and vibration-free environment without corrosive gases.
2. Keep the machine clean and lubricate moving parts regularly to prevent rust and wear.
3. Use 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil for optimal performance.
4. Maintain the oil level within 5 cm of the top of the tank. A ruler is provided on the cylinder for regular checks.
Calibration Procedure
1. Calibrate the machine annually.
2. Perform calibration under the following conditions:
- Room temperature: 20 ± 10°C
- Relative humidity: ≤ 80%
- No vibration in the surrounding area
- Power supply fluctuation: less than ±10% of rated voltage
3. Preheat the instrument for 30 minutes after turning on the power. Adjust the zero point according to the manual.
4. Start the motor and repeat the calibration after three cycles of maximum load application.
5. The calibration should meet the following standards:
- Indication value relative error ≤ ±1%
- Indication value relative variability ≤ ±1%
