Global Design Solutions (GDS) has announced that the emergency lighting fixtures at Wembley Stadium have been replaced with 44-arc 8-core LED lighting fixtures. The efficiency and versatility of solid-state lighting will enable the use of LEDs in all of Wembley's lighting.

Wembley Stadium uses the Arc system to provide the necessary light for the venue. The system also has a built-in wireless control function that supports a dimming range from 0% to 100% to maximize energy savings.
Special project director Simon Needle said: "The use of the Arc system has raised the lighting safety of Wembley Stadium to a higher level. Solid-state lighting products provide enough light and the lighting management system is more user-friendly. Better energy savings can be achieved while ensuring lighting."
