Development. The new MB86M31 uses the latest video compression technology for real-time 4K 60P HEVC/H.265 video encoding.

HEVC can achieve 4K video transmission with only half the data of H.264 technology, while ensuring the same image quality as H.264. As 4K video becomes more popular with consumers, this new compression format is rapidly gaining popularity in the global market. In the past, real-time encoding of 4K images required parallel processing through multiple CPUs, while MB86M31 used real-time video encoding on a single chip, which greatly saved product area and power consumption. The required PCB area of ​​the MB86M31 is only 1/20 of that of a multiprocessor system, and the power consumption is only 1/50 of that of a multiprocessor system, but the performance improvement can be up to 1000 times. Suo Xi Technology plans to start mass production of MB86M31 in August 2015, and its application mainly targets high-end professional equipment.
