The data shows that the scale and strength of this year's top 100 enterprises have reached a new level. In 2012, the main business income of this year's top 100 enterprises was 1,956.5 billion yuan, an increase of 11.1% over the previous session, accounting for nearly a quarter of the total industry; total assets increased by 15% over the previous session. 56 times the average level, the income scale is 38 times the industry average. Among them, there are 36 companies with revenues exceeding 10 billion yuan, 16 companies with more than 20 billion yuan, and 4 companies with more than 100 billion yuan.
This year's top 100 enterprises achieved a total profit of 81.2 billion yuan, accounting for 23.2% of the industry's total, and the sales profit rate was 4.2%, which was 0.2 percentage points higher than the industry average.
As of the end of last year, this year's top 100 companies have a total of 133,000 patents, an increase of 33,000 over the previous session; of which, invention patents accounted for more than 50%. ZTE once again ranked first in the global PCT application ranking of 2012 with 3906 patent applications; many key technologies and industrial application research participated by many top 100 enterprises were awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
