It can also synchronize with compatible TTL-type PWM signals for four-quadrant operation. The SA60 is commonly used in driving small to medium-sized DC motors, Class D power amplifiers, and bearing excitation systems.

LMD18245 Performance Parameters and Application Scope:

The LMD18245 chip provides a maximum motor supply voltage of 55V, a logic circuit voltage of 12V, a continuous current output of 3A, and a peak current of 6A. Its minimum input pulse width is 2μS, and the current sensor has a maximum linearity error of ±9%. Similar to the SA60, this power output stage is highly efficient. With its integrated four-bit D/A converter, motor current sensor, and a chopper amplifier with a fixed cutoff time, the LMD18245 can easily perform digital motor current control and achieve microstep drives for stepper motors. Thus, it is primarily used in controlling and driving small DC motors, particularly stepper motors.
