Changjiang Liwei Company was established in 2011. It was jointly initiated by Shenzhen Liwei Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Changjiang Communications Industry Group, with a registered capital of RMB 180 million. The company is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development of LCOS virtual display chip core technology, LCOS display production and application program development and industrial integration.

Kang Gang told reporters that Li Weiyi's LCOS miniature virtual display chip technology stems from the 863 project that the company has undertaken and has completed. Around this topic, Li Wei of the Yangtze River has received 89 patents, of which 80 are LCOS technology patents.

According to an authoritative forecast, LCOS display technology will dominate the market for microdisplay display due to its performance and cost advantages, and it is estimated that it will account for 80% of the total. Kang Gang indicated that with the increase in demand for personalized display, it can be foreseen that the market for new products represented by wearable personal information terminal products, projection mobile phones and video glasses will rapidly expand, and LCOS chip technology will play an important role in new markets. , and bring more imagination space for the future microdisplay market.

Based on its internationally leading LCOS technology, Changjiang Liwei has independently developed and put into production wearable electronic products such as pico projectors, 3D video glasses, and LCOS sports glasses. The company will also plan to build LCOS industrial clusters.
