Using electronic tag technology to identify the authenticity of new military license plates

According to the deployment of the Central Military Commission and the notification requirements of the four headquarters, from May 1, 2013, the whole army will uniformly use the new military vehicle license plate, and the "2004-style" military vehicle license plate will be abolished on April 30.

The layout of the new military vehicle number plate adopts the method of prefix + prefix + Arabic numerals. The prefix uses Chinese Pinyin letters and the prefix uses English letters, which are set separately according to different types of units. Six kinds of anti-counterfeiting technologies, such as information anti-counterfeiting, are integrated to effectively improve the anti-counterfeiting capability of new military vehicle license plates.
