Jingyuan Electronics Adds 35 Million Yuan Investment in LED Sapphire Project

Tangshan Jingyuan Yufeng Electronics Co., Ltd. held the 13th meeting of the 4th Board of Directors on March 13, 2012. It reviewed and approved the “Proposal on Increasing Investment in LED Substrate Material Sapphire Wafer Industrialization Phase I Project” and decided On the basis of the original project investment, an increase of 35 million yuan was invested. It is expected that the project will be completed by the end of 2012.

The capital increase is mainly used for the introduction of Russian sapphire single crystal production technology and supporting equipment, the construction of a 10” sapphire single crystal pilot production line, and the construction of 10,000 square meters of new workshop plant and water, electricity and other ancillary facilities. Of which: the introduction of technology costs 5 million yuan, The plant construction and decontamination renovation project fee is 21 million yuan, and the supporting equipment and facilities are 9 million yuan.

It is understood that the company held its seventh meeting of the fourth session of the Board of Directors on August 9, 2011, and reviewed and approved the "Proposal on the Investment of 79 Million RMB for the Construction of a Phase I Project for the Industrialization of LED Substrate Material Sapphire Wafer." It is agreed that the company will invest 79 million yuan in its own funds to build a phase 1 project for LED substrate sapphire wafers. It is expected that all production capacity will reach an annual output of 1.2 million sapphire wafers of 2”-4”.

As of the end of February 2012, the project has completed a total investment of 53.485 million yuan, basically completed the selection and introduction of 120,000 substrate 2 wafer production lines for monthly production, and is expected to complete debugging in March. The company also established long-term technical cooperation with Hebei University of Technology. In the relationship, the two sides set up a joint crystal research laboratory with the goal of digesting and absorbing the imported technology and the follow-up single crystal technology R&D.In addition, the company has introduced Russia's 10 "sapphire single crystal technology and pilot production equipment, and has signed a contract, and it is expected to start this year in May this year.
