The existing mainstream control methods are basically based on system support, including controllers, bus structures, modules and intelligent lighting combinations, and dedicated buses including DALI/DSI/DMX are relatively mature and systematic lighting solutions. So is there a third path beyond the single-lamp intelligence and systematic intelligent solution? We are also trying to find this third path.
However, there are several obstacles in the promotion of intelligent lighting: First, system support is required, and construction is difficult; second, system cost is relatively high, and most users are difficult to accept; third, professional technicians are required to debug.
Second, modular area intelligent solutions
Lifeview proposes a modular area intelligence solution that addresses area lighting, or single-lamp intelligence, or system intelligence. For example, in an office environment, each switch usually controls not a single lamp, but a group of lights that are controlled as a partition or an illumination classification. At the same time, the concept of centralized power supply scheme was introduced in office lighting, which is also a relatively successful attempt.
1. Integration of lamps and light sources is beneficial to reduce costs and improve heat dissipation
The relatively mature market for LED lamps is basically a substitute for the light source market. For example, many manufacturers now produce fluorescent tubes, bulbs, and LEDs as light source products that have been accepted by most consumers, and will become more and more mature after the market is replaced. And the amount will be very large, but as a simple alternative to the traditional light source, it can not play the full advantages of LED, according to the theoretical life of LED calculation, it can really reach 50,000 hours. The highest technical content in the luminaire is the power supply, and the safety inspection is only related to the power supply (the power supply and the luminaire are separated). Therefore, after the driving power source and the luminaire are separated, different powers of different powers, different functions, and the same luminaire can be combined to form different products. In terms of cost, the driving power supply accounts for 30% to 40% of the total cost of the office grille lamp. Therefore, how to reduce the power supply cost is very important.
3. In business lighting, especially office lighting, a high-powered power supply combined with multiple lamps will become the future direction of development.

The concept of 48V is rare in China. Most of the products used in China are 12V to 24V. We especially recommend the 48V solution. In addition, the photovoltaic power supply is also DC output, and their application will also be beneficial to the DC power supply scheme of the LED light. It can be used simply and at a very low cost.
Recently, in the space of the underground parking lot, attempts have been made to directly introduce photovoltaics into the ground, and the cost is reduced and the efficiency is relatively high.
Third, how to achieve intelligent office lighting
Smart lighting is now a standard that was developed in the late 1990s, when wireless control solutions were not particularly popular. In fact, including WiFi, USB, Bluetooth technology can be used in smart lighting, including power supply manufacturers are doing different solutions to adapt to future wireless intelligent solutions. In fact, the smart module is built directly into the power supply, and the system becomes very complicated. At present, there are many types of power supplies, constant current, constant voltage, and WiFi. I believe that the power supply should be a simple power supply in the future. The technology of constant voltage power supply is very mature and the price is very cheap.
When wireless control is required, a wireless intelligent module can be externally connected and then converted into a small internal bus.
